Hey there! I'm in quite an energetic mood and I really feel like talking even if its just to myself so here it goes.
First off, Halloween. I was supposed to work but I got out of it =) =) =) I shall be trick or treating with someone (who is coincidentally dressing up in the same costume as me) around my neighborhood because I've never gone a year without trick or treating and I'm not about to start. And we're doing make up together for a party later as well. So I'm excited.
But I also have a birthday coming up. Usually I get really excited about it just for the hugs and stuff from my friends. But this year not so much. Ad nobody is letting me forget about it. I feel like everyone does too much for me already and I don't need or desire the attention. Also I don't like the fact that I'm growing up. And I'll have to miss the first half of the school day which is the best part for me because I see many of my friends then. Oh well.
I think something is wrong with me today. (more than usual that is) I cleaned my room without anyone asking me to and I enjoyed it. I had a period of time like that over the summer but I didn't have anything better to do then. Now I have tons to do but I still wanna clean...and sing and jump up and down. A little too happy today I think. Let's hope it lasts! XD
Aaaaaaand its been a very productive year so far for me writing-wise. I've completed quite a few things without problems or obstacles. I think creative writing class is helping tons. I've even started a personal project which will keep me busy for a while. I'm taking some of my friend's photography of other friends and writing an individual story type thing on each one. Christmas presents!
I've been struggling in a class or two in school but am proud to say I'm doing really well (according to my standards). Last year I kinda slacked off but now I am back on track pulling A's and B's. (knock on wood) It's college planning-SAT taking-study cramming-homework doing year! Can't mess up now.
Well I'm feeling really anxious so I think I'm gonna go do crunches or something. Bye!

Time for a change
Fall is approaching, bringing change with it. The weather, the leaves, a new school year, so why not a self change? This year is going to be different.
They say looks aren't everything, and I agree which may be one of my most hypocritical stances. Although they aren't everything, they are something to me. I won't judge the way others look but I do judge myself that way. It gives me even the slightest bit of confidence if I like what I'm wearing or my hair or something. It sounds really shallow but it's true, maybe because it's only a once in a while feeling. So weather it's just new clothes or a different hairstyle, something is going to change.
But as I said before, looks aren't everything. There is much more to be changed inside. I've always played it safe, staying in the background, afraid to participate, speaking only when spoken to. I don't want to be shy anymore. I want to take risks, be loud, and be involved. I only get to live these years once. So my goal for this year is to live it up and take some risks. Be spontaneous for a change. What can it hurt? If I don't try, I'll never know.

updates and summer recaps
First I guess I'll start with updates. Shopping. I've done it. A lot of it recently and I have the biggest rush from the sales I've been finding. I also saw my first legit horror movie in theatres. I survived! It was Orphan and it was great just to let you know. Annnnd I went to the beach with my bffl and then back home to hang out. Just spending some quality time which was absolutely needed.
Now for the summer recap. I think I went out to the movies or bowling a lot more last year, but this summer I've been better about trying new things. (nothing bad or illegal no worries). Feeling quite weightless (All Time Low reference) and I think and I hope that maybe this WILL be my year. We're all growing up too quickly, even if not by choice, so I'm gonna make this last and maybe gain a little confidence along the way. Let's hope! Maybe it's not my weekend, but it's gonna be my year, and I'm so sick of watching while the minutes pass as I go nowhere, and this is my reaction, to everything I fear, 'cause I've been going crazy I don't wanna waste another minute here. --ATL
